Water Center for the Humid Tropics of Latin America and the Caribbean (CATHALAC) - An autonomous international organization dedicated to promote sustainable development through applied research and development, education, and technology transfer in the areas of integrated watershed management, climate change, environmental modeling and analysis, and risk management in Latin America and the Caribbean. 

Fundación Gaia PachaA Bolivian non-profit organisation seeking to create and propose alternatives and efficient solutions, based on local and scientific knowledge, to problems in which human actions alter the balance of the environment, in order to satisfy human needs and make them compatible with those of our surroundings.


Council of Canadians - Advocates for clean water, fair trade, green energy, public health care, and a vibrant democracy. Educates and empowers people to hold our governments and corporations accountable.

Environmental Monitoring Group - Focus on helping to build democratic and fair decision-making processes that relate to the use and management of natural resources. Have a specific water and climate change program.

Sierra Nevada Alliance (USA) - Alliance of 85+ conservation groups that are based or work in the Sierra Nevada region. They have a specific campaign on water and climate change.

Southern VoicesThe Southern Voices on Climate Change programme supports 10 national, 8 regional and 2 thematic civil society networks around the world. The aim is to develop capacity in the global South to advocate on climate change policies.
