This map of Bolivia and bordering countries shows you the country’s topograhical diversity, encompassing the Andes mountains, their high ‘altiplano’ plains, and vast areas of Amazon jungle to the east. Our researchers visited three locations in central Bolivia in 2010/11 that have been exposed to: droughts (Pasorapa), flooding (Quillacollo) and glacier loss (Khapi).
